Other opportunities

The ambulance crews on the road are the public face of the ambulance service and anyone who has ever called for an ambulance will have had contact with the control room of staff. Keeping the service running smoothly and efficiently 24 hours a day, seven days a week, relies on a much wider team of people working in a range of different specialist areas and without them, the system would break down.

These roles include human resources, dealing with staff recruitment and development, those who look after vehicle requirements, working in technology, ensuring the accurate information gets to the people who need it, also roles in clinical standards and quality control and other essential services such as finance and administration, upon which all large modern organisations depend. May of our staff work in teams which are led by Team Leaders - there positions are generally held by employees who have developed into these positions.
