NewsCampaignsThe Children's Safety Education Foundation
The full colour guidebooks aim to teach children aged between 6-11 about their bodies, how to look after them, how to recognise a medical emergency and how to respond. South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust will be distributing copies of the Early Years First Aid Handbook for the 6-7 year olds (Key Stage 1) and the First Aid Handbook for the 7-11 year olds (Key Stage 2). Designed by a qualified paramedic, both of these books will guide children through projects and activities, which can be discussed with teachers and parents alike. Our strategy is not only to inform but also educate the children in a fun and positive way.
If you are able to help with sponsorship, or require more information, please contact Lynne Paramor, Public Relations and Communications Manager, South Western Ambulance Service on 01392 261500 or telephone Children’s Safety Education Foundation on 0161 477 5122. |
