MIND Blue Light Infoline
 
The mental health charity MIND has recently set up their Blue Light Infoline for all staff working in the emergency services. This is free to access and can help with any queries you or your families might have regarding mental health. Please note that the Blue Light Infoline is not a counselling service; this is available through the Employee Assistance Programme provided by First Assist.

Blue Light Programme - Films

Neil, Becky, Richard and Izzy share their experiences of mental health problems whilst working for the emergency services in these short films, created by Time to Change. 

Mind is developing the Blue Light Programme to provide mental health support for emergency services staff and volunteers from police, fire, ambulance and search and rescue services across England.

CARDIAC ARREST SURVIVOR, IAN, REUNITED WITH LIFESAVING SWASFT CREW
A father-of-two who survived a cardiac arrest has been reunited with the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) paramedics and the Avon and Somerset Police officers who saved his life at a roadside layby.
