Trust announces new Chief Finance Officer

29 July 2021

I am delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Rosser as the Trust’s new Chief Finance Officer.

Andrew will sit as a member of SWASFT’s executive team, with responsibility for the Finance, Audit and Counter Fraud, Procurement, Estates, Stores, Commissioning, Planning, and Performance functions of the Trust and will play an integral role in ensuring the Trust’s financial objectives are reached.

Andrew – a chartered accountant – has extensive finance leadership, accounting, and business development experience within the transportation and property sectors in both the UK and the Middle East. He will be returning to Exeter from Essex, where he has been based recently, to take up his role with SWASFT. As a keen cyclist, sailor and RYA Yachtmaster, he is looking forward to being back in South Devon with all it has to offer!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jonathan James for his commitment to the role of Acting Executive Director of Finance for the last two years – Jonathan will resume his original role as Deputy Director of Finance.

Will Warrender
