Welcome to SWASFT

Staff and CFR Volunteers

Devon County 2017 - Engagement Exter Pride 2018 - Engagement Leicester Mela 2017 - Engagement

The engagement team is always looking for volunteers to support the patient and public engagements throughout the Trust, including local and Tri-Service shows, open days and focus groups. We are aware that many of our staff and volunteers are eager to engage with the wider public on topics that they feel strongly about. We’re happy to help facilitate and support any engagements that you yourselves are organising.

The engagement function relies solely on volunteers to accomplish Trust requirements so as to engage with the patients and public. Our intention is to build a robust list of volunteers that will enable us to accommodate the high volumes of requests that are sent in. Please be aware that this is a voluntary role.

Those who are willing to volunteer will receive weekly emails with events from across the South West that require attendees. These will include school, community and hard to reach group visits as well as larger Tri-Service events.

We have a fleet of public relation vehicles based in Taunton. These vehicles are available for you to use at these events.

If you are interested in furthering your skills and wish to engage with those that you help on a daily basis, then please complete the EVENT VOLUNTEER FORM and read the ENGAGEMENT VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT.
