The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) is encouraging people to use the right healthcare for them this August bank holiday weekend as the region prepares for a further influx of visitors.

The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) will be hosting a three-day career access course in partnership with the Prince’s Trust, for young people aged 18 – 30 years old, at the Trust’s headquarters in Exeter from Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 September.

Jane Whichello, Head of Volunteering at the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT), is doing a skydive to help raise funds to buy new Community Response Vehicles (CRVs) for the Trust’s volunteer Community First Responders. 

The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT), is using cutting edge Virtual Reality (VR) technology, to provide its incident commanders with an immersive training experience to test their knowledge, skills and decision making in a realistic environment.

Graduate paramedic apprentices were celebrated at an event in Exeter recently, after they completed a BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science Degree Level Apprenticeship, in partnership with the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) and the University of Cumbria.
