A 71-year-old woman from Dorset has been reunited with South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) crew members who helped save her life following a cardiac arrest at her home last year.

The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) had its busiest day on record yesterday (Tuesday 26 May), with ambulance crews responding to almost 4,000 incidents across the region. 

Kelly Saunders, Acting Head of Fleet and Equipment at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT), is preparing to take on the Great West Run Half Marathon in Exeter on Sunday 24 May to raise money for the South Western Ambulance Charity.

A Shepton Mallet man has been reunited with a member of the public and crew members from the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) who helped save his life following a sudden cardiac arrest last year.
