Driving Faculty
I joined the Driving faculty in January 2024 following a stint on the front line as an ECA. Prior to this I was in education teaching learners of many ages including those with special educational needs and taught in Deaf education. During this time I was also a CFR for SWAST. After leaving school I was a firefighter for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service which included driving various fire appliances. I am married with 4 children (all under 11) and enjoy travelling and camping. Oh, I also keep bees!
What advice would you give someone about to embark on a Driving Course?
Forget what you think you know about driving and trust your instructors. Revise, revise and revise some more for the exams but above all, enjoy the course!
