Nina Henderson
Driving Faculty
My name in Nina Henderson, I joined SWASFT in 2012 as an Ambulance Care Assistant. I worked on Patient Transport for one year before becoming an Emergency Care Assistant in 2013. I was seconded to the Driving Faculty in 2020 as a Driving Support Officer, and then offered a full time Driver Training Officer position in 2023. I am an Approved Driving Instructor, and I completed my DERADI qualification in 2022.
I live in Dorset with my daughter Ruby. When I'm not at work I like to make the most of living by the coast. I enjoy paddle boarding, mountain biking, and yoga. I also like to travel. I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
What advice would you give someone about to embark on a Driving Course?
Study as much as you can prior to embarking on the CERAD course. Learn your traffic signs and familiarise yourself with Roadcraft.
