Dawn Sturgess Inquiry – public report now available
Earlier today, The Rt Hon Lord Hughes of Ombersley published his report from the Dawn Sturgess Inquiry. You can read the full report here.
As a reminder, the Inquiry was established to understand the circumstances that led to the tragic death of Dawn Sturgess in July 2018, following Novichok poisoning. The South Western Ambulance Service supported the Inquiry process, and several colleagues contributed to the evidence throughout hearings in Salisbury and London in 2024.
Listed below is the Trust's response to the publication of the report.

We would like to thank our people for their dedication and compassion when responding to the Skripals, Ms. Sturgess and Charlie Rowley, and for their professionalism during the Inquiry.
