Requesting Attendance at Your Event

Attending Community Events

Our team aims to attend as many events as possible each year, engaging with a wide range of people and communities. However, please note that we rely on voluntary staff to attend these events, as frontline operations and patient safety remain our top priority.

How to Request a Crew or Vehicle Visit

If you'd like to request a crew or vehicle to visit your school, club, or event, please submit your request at least four weeks in advance and follow the steps below:

1.      Complete the request form via the following link: PPE Request Form

2.      Send the fully completed PPE form to engagement@swast.nhs.uk

3.      Complete the health and safety processes, which can be found here

4.      Please note your event is only confirmed once you receive an email from the Engagement Team, approval may take up to 4 weeks

5.      You will be emailed an evaluation form after the event

6.      If we're unable to attend, we'll aim to notify you at least 5 days before your event

Important: Your event will not be approved if you cannot provide appropriate risk assessments and a completed request form at least four weeks before the event date.
